Nike Air Max 95 was designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, and has since become one of Nike's greatest hits. Lozano used the human anatomy as inspiration for the Air Max 95 with the midsole representing the spine, graduated side panels resembling the muscles, lace loops playing their role as ribs, and the mesh simulating the skin. This legendary sneaker was also the first by Nike to feature Air Max cushioning in the heel and forefoot.
